Hey Everyone!
I hope everyone is enjoying the Olympics, speed skating FTW! Anyways, I've thought about what I'm going to do with this veto a lot actually. I ran through some scenarios with a lot of people tonight trying to figure out what I wanted to do and I think I got the feedback I needed to make this decision.
I think most people in the house want to see Danielle leave this game, but there's someone I want out of the game really really bad. Some people who he's went against in the game don't even want him out which confuses me.
With that being said I need to make a move to take out the Carrots in this house.
I've decided to save Danielle from the block, James please nominate another person.

OK, sorry for the wait. I wanted to make sure I was making the right decision.
Before I made my nominations, I had talked to everyone, and it seemed most people wanted Danielle out. So the least I could do was give them the opportunity. The second nominee would have been Jee. However, Nathan volunteered to go up to ensure that Danielle would go home. I asked him 5 or 6 times if he was sure. I even gave him a chance to back out at the last minute.
I thought that even if Nathan ended up winning veto, I could still put up Jee like I had planned to. So I was prepared to do that when he did win. Now Nathan felt strongly about wanting one person in particular out this week. I get it. But I told him that I wouldn't be able to do that. He's the one with the problem with Roddy, not me. But that doesn't mean that Roddy and I are a pair either like you told me people see us as, Nathan.
I know I was confused when Nate decided to save Danielle, as were some of you. Especially when he knew I wanted to leave it up to the house to decide whether she'd make jury or not. I wanted the house to decide, not Nathan on his own. And now he doesn't seem to be too worried about putting Jee in danger. Or sending anyone else out of the game without a jury spot. So that didn't sit very well with me. The other thing that doesn't sit well with me is the fact that Nathan feels so confident to remain on the block, when he doesn't even know who he'll be up against.
I know he's got connections with everyone, and I feel he's been playing everyone since very early on. I could make a list of all the questionable things he's done, but I don't have time. And I know there are people who feel the same. So it makes you wonder, where do his true loyalties lie? How long are people going to keep him around? Not only is he a physical threat, but he is one hell of a social player too.
I feel that this is an opportunity we shouldn't let go to waste. I'm not sure there will be another. If he stays, he'll likely win the game because noone wants to take the risk or they like him too much. So did I, you know. But the fact remains that we are playing a game. I know it's now become a personal issue for me, but you can't deny that it would benefit every single one of us if Nathan weren't in the picture. Just think of how your chances of winning HOH next week will improve alone.
I've tried to play this game with as much integrity as I could, and when I told people something, I meant it. And I told certain people this week, that they were not going anywhere and I will follow through with it.
So with that said...

Amy, I have to put you up.
I know I'll make some enemies this week, but I'm prepared to deal with the consequences. Amy, know that I don't want you gone. But it makes the most sense to put you up at this point for a couple of reasons.
1) You would be a vote for Nathan to stay 2) I'm sorry to Janelle, but she'd have to choose between you two and I'd hope she chooses you to stay over Nathan
Now I will also be voting this week, due to me winning a double vote in the veto competition. I'm hoping that four other people decide to join me in voting him out. It has to be 5 in total because Nate can and will cancel someone's vote this week. Whichever way it ends up going, if people want to nominate me next week, so be it. I've made jury, so I'll be here involved in the game until the end anyway.
I'll will be looking to talk to a few of you individually later on to clarify some things.
Thanks for your time, and your patience.
Sorry Amy.
