URTV 8: Episode 1

It's a house like no other where 52 cameras follow your every move and 95 microphones capture your every word! This is the Big Brother House! Tonight, 20 strangers will enter the Big Brother House with one goal in mind - to be the last one standing. They will live in total confinement, cut off from the outside world. Every week the houseguests will compete for food, luxury, and most important, power. Each week they will vote to evict one of their own until only one houseguest remains to capture the $500,000 prize. Their three month journey is about to begin, this is URTV8!

Julie Chen: Good evening, I'm Julie Chen and welcome to our next edition of URTV, season eight: Let's ReDO All-Stars! Tonight 20 new houseguests will move into the Big Brother House behind me to compete in a three-month long power struggle for a half a million dollars. Twists and turns await these unsuspecting houseguests, but first, just a few days ago - the Big Brother houseguests were surprised with their keys to the house!

[Various clips of houseguests receiving their key are shown]

Sarah: OH. Haha! Yay! This is hot!

Kaysar: Yay! This feels awesome, I'm so damn excited.

David: Holy shit! I can't believe I made it!

Nakomis: I cannot wait, I'm so pumped for this.

Will: You better root for me America!

Janelle: This is very very good news.

Roddy: It feels great to be on, but we'll see how I do!

Holly: Eh, I don't think I'll do good.

George: Good, I made it.

[Houseguests are interviewed as they pack for the show]

What are you going to bring to the house?

Amy: Sex, drugs, and Rock N' Roll.

Jordan: Fierceness.

Janelle: I love to cause drama, I find it fun.

Sarah: I'm bringing sexy back and hopefully it will earn me better the fifth place.

Erika: Condoms.

What kind of people do you want to align with?

Nathan: People who talk a lot, I hate being ignored.

Rachel: People who are chill, cool and awesome. I hate loud mouths.

Michelle: Trustworthy people who are easy to get along with.

Jee: I want to make allies who win competitions, so they become the bigger target.

George: Older players, I can trust them more then some children.

What qualities makes you not trust someone?

Drew: When people's stories don't match up, that's a red flag for me.

Holly: Flakey people who constantly flip sides.

Justin: I can usually just tell just by the way they are talking to me if they're trustworthy or not.

Kaysar: When someone doesn't give me a specific answer to my specific question.

Danielle: When they try to tell me what to do.

Do you believe in throwing competitions?

Will: No no no no no no! You are NEVER safe!

James: I could never throw a competition. But what is it that they say about saying never?

Nakomis: Sometimes there is a bigger picture.

David: Only if they throw it to me. I won't throw a competition for anything.

Roddy: I would never do it constantly and I generally like to win as many competitions as possible, but in many scenarios it does not hurt to throw one here or there.

[The houseguests all finish packing and say goodbye to their loved ones. Clips are shown of them driving off to go to the Big Brother House]

Julie Chen: Now that you've met the 20 houseguests, let's bring them out. Keep in mind this is the first time they have seen each other and they are not allowed to talk to each other until they've entered the URTV8 house.

[All twenty houseguests walk out onto the front porch from the front of the studio. They rotate walking out from two different sides and in alphabetical order.]

Julie Chen: Welcome houseguests, I'm Julie. Check out the men and women around you, you'll be getting to know them very well over the next three months. Among them you could find a new best friend, or not. But ultimately each of you will be on your own, this is, above all, a competition. When you get into the house you will only have one minute to claim your bed by placing your bag on it, choose wisely because you will be there for the rest of the game. You will enter in four groups of five chosen at random.

[Houseguests look around nervously hoping for their name to be called]

Julie Chen: The first five houseguests to enter the URTV8 house are: Drew, Holly, James, George, and David.

[The five rush in and scramble to find the rooms, David finds the Yellow Room of Honesty and Deceit followed by Drew and James, David put his bag down but James steals it at the last second]

David [DR]: I have to laugh because when I went to put my bag down on a bed James came out of nowhere and got it. It's okay though he's cool.

James [DR]: I chose the Yellow Room of Honesty and Deceit, because I haven't yet decided if I'm going to be honest or deceitful. Maybe I'll try to walk the line down the middle.

Drew [DR]: I love yellow, so I picked that room for that reason. James is awesome, and I like David, so that's good too.

[David, Drew, and James just look at each other and let out a laugh. Meanwhile, Holly and George are deciding on what rooms to take.]

Holly [DR]: I'm pretty sure I'm going with the middle-sized room. I don't want the rooms to be pitted against each other, but I have a feeling it'll be that way for the first couple weeks. So I don't wanna be an easy target in the largest or smallest bedroom.

[Holly places herself in the Red Room of Love & Hate, while George quietly decides on the Green Room Loyalty and Betrayal]

George: I need my own bed.

Julie Chen: The next five to enter are: Amy, Danielle, Roddy, Nakomis, and Jee. You may enter now.

[The five go in the house and meet everyone. Some hugs are exchanged. Amy, Nakomis, and Jee find themselves in the Green Room Loyalty and Betrayal with George. Amy and Nakomis place their bags in the two double beds. Jee places his bag on Amy's.]

Jee: You don't mind if I share with you?

Amy: Not at all.

[Danielle and Roddy join David, Drew, and James in the Yellow Room of Honesty and Deceit]

James: Awesome, welcome you guys.

Drew: Hottest room ever!

Danielle: Thanks for the welcome James.

Drew: Can I cuddle with you Danielle?

Danielle: As long as we keep it G-Rated, at least for the first night. I don't America to think I'm easy.

Roddy [DR]: I like the room I picked though. My roommates are awesome. I already get along great with Dave and Drew so now once I get to know James and Danielle I should be all set. Danielle will be in for some long nights though! Haha.

Julie Chen: The next five to go in are: Erika, Kaysar, Sarah, Janelle, and Nathan.

[The next five houseguests waste no time making sure they get a good bed. Kaysar fills up the Green Room]

Kaysar: Hey Nakomis, I hope you don't mind sharing a bed with me. We'll have a lot of fun babe.

Nakomis: I don't mind at all! What a great room we have!

Jee: I totally agree.

Amy: This room is so hot.

[Sarah, Janelle, Nathan, and Erika join Holly in the Red Room of Love & Hate filling up the giant bed they will all be sleeping in]

Nathan: Hey ladies!

Holly: Yay, I finally get roomates. Hey guys.

Janelle: Nathan is going to love to be in a room with all girls.

Sarah: Nathan is totally pimpin'.

Janelle [DR]: I love the room I'm in and the people. I'm sure Nathan is pretty happy being in a room with all girls.

Nathan [DR]: Perfect, four girls and me. I couldn't have asked for a better room.

Sarah [DR]: I like my roommates so far, but it's week one, we'll see.

Julie Chen: The remaining five of you: Will, Michelle, Rachel, Jordan, and Justin, you may finally enter and goodluck to you!

[Jean closes the front door, sealing all the houseguests inside. They all see that the other rooms are taken and are confused where to go. Michelle finds a note on the Storage room door and reads it to the other four.]

Michelle: Well....this is lovely. You're probably seeing this if all the other beds are taken. Or you just have a strange habit of sleeping on the kitchen floor? Well, hey, it's not THAT bad. It's bad you're sleeping on a cold, linoleum floor. But it is the storage room, which means a quick midnight snack is just an arm-reach away!

[The five enter the room and find sleeping bags in the corner and begin to set up. Michelle lays her sleeping bag down by the fridge, while Rachel sets-up under the counter, Justin takes the middle of the room, and Will by the closet. Leaving Jordan by the door.]

Michelle: I like the quick midnight snack part!

Rachel: I rather not get hit by the door.

Jordan: This sucks, can I just sneak into someone else's bed?

Justin [DR]: I have L-A-M-E room and my roommates are just ok.

Will [DR]: We were picked last, nothing I could have done, but the rooms are not going to effect my game.

[Julie orders everyone to go to the living room. On the table in the living room is champagne and some food for the houseguests to celebrate with]

Julie Chen: Welcome to the URTV8 livingroom houseguests. This is where all future Veto, Nomination, and Eviction ceremonies will be held, as well as any game changing announcements. But for now let's use it to get to know each other, introduce yourself to your fellow houseguests.

[Everyone looks around waiting for someone to start]

Holly: Ok, I guess I'll start. I'm Holly, I'm 19 years old and live in New York, about 20 minutes outside Manhattan. And right now I'm currently in college as a fashion design student.

George: Hey everyone! I'm George, and I'm from Rockford, Illinois. I absolutely adore my wife and kids and I am just so so so so happy to be selected to play in this game. What an honor!

James: I was a high school teacher, taught 9th grade philosophy, now I'm going for my Master's. I'm about to turn 34 and I'm from Miami, Florida. Just kidding, Actually, I was a Loss Prevention Manager, whatever that is. I've done some modelling with Elite's men division in Chicago since then, and I was in the music video for "When I Grow Up" by the Pussycat Dolls.

David: My name is David and I am from Iowa. I'm 23 years old and I recently graduated Culinary School at Le Cordon Bleu in Minneapolis, MN and currently waiting tables. I also am continuing my education and going back to be a high school Math/English teacher.

Jee [DR]: I really like David, he seems really chill and I can already tell we're going to be working together in the future.

Drew: I'm Drew and I'm 21. I live in Chicago and I'm a student. I also work at a big-box warehouse store that some of you may be familiar with. Otherwise, my life is quite boring. I'm very excited to be in URTV and I plan on making sure everyone has a good time.

Roddy: I'm Roddy, I'm from New York and I'm a student and for game purposes my occupation is a man-whore.

Nakomis: Hi, my name is Nakomis and I hail from the magical land of Newfoundland in Canada. I love reality TV, my twin, and partying.

Roddy [DR]: Nakomis and I are the alcoholics of the house! We're gonna show this house how to party.

Danielle: Hello everyone, I'm Danielle, feel free to call me Dani. I am 23 and I live in a tourism hotspot! I graduated from school already and am trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. Anything involving entertaining, travel, and general fabulousness would suit me well I think.

Sarah: Hey guys, I'm Sarah and I'm Canadian. I work as a teacher and I am still in school learning to be a teacher and I'm excited to get to know all of you.

Nathan: Hey guys! I'm Nathan from Kansas, I recently graduated from college and I'm now student teaching part time. I hope to get a job next year teaching high school history. Let's all get wasted and have a good time!

Erika: I'm Erika and I'm beautiful, is there anything else to say?

Jee: I'm Jee, I'm going to school trying to make a living. Other then that I'm a lazy bum who watches Reality TV. Story of my life.

Janelle: Hey guys! I'm Janelle and I'm 20 years old living in New York where we get all the snow. I'm going to school for teaching, with a concentration in Spanish. I work part time also but its an easy job!

Amy [DR]: I really like Janelle, we got to talking and we just really hit it off. She seems to be really cool and someone I could totally get along with.

Amy: Hi everyone. I'm Amy. I'm from Kentucky. I work retail at a clothing store and I don't really like the whole craziness of the holidays. Retail is so busy at this time of the year. I'm 21 years old and this is my last semester in school. Anyways time to bring on the drinks and the cheese!

Nakomis [DR]: I really like Amy! Shes kinda funny! And I think I could get along good with her.

Kaysar: Hey everyone! I'm Kaysar and I'm 24 years old.I'm a graphic designer from Irvine, California but I'm originally from Iraq.

Justin: Hey y'all! I'm Justin. I'm 20 years old from freaking freezing Canada and I want to leave now. Also, its very important to know that I love Britney Spears - if you diss her in my presence... you will pay.

Will: Hey everyone! My name is Will and I'm 19 years old hailing from Georgia. I'm going to school full-time and live on campus. I work part time at Best Buy and it's pretty lame.

Drew [DR]: Will is also pretty cool, I definitely could see myself working with him. Both Will and Holly mentioned something about an alliance, which would be cool, but I'm not going to make any rash decisions.

Jordan: Hello I'm Jordan, I live in New York. I am 20 years old and I am currently in college majoring in Business Management. I am in my second year now. If you wish to know anything else just ask!

[Rachel and Michelle pass on speaking]

Julie Chen: I'll leave you guys to get to know each other even more. Look out for your first Head of Household Competition in the next few days. Goodnight houseguests.

[The rest of the houseguests spread around the house to socialize and explore]

[Most of the houseguests go to the backyard to hang out]

Roddy: Can I just say that I'm really drunk right now?



David: I think it' time to tan.

Nakomis: I agree with you on this tanning idea.

Erika: Oh, tanning! Nathan come fan me please.

[Amy and Janelle begin to paint their nails together and show them off to the other houseguests]

Janelle [DR]: I've been wanting an alliance, but I didn't want to jump into anything to quickly.

[Amy and Janelle go into the bathroom and begin to talk]

Amy: I still haven't talked to some people. I'm kinda off in my own world.

Janelle: Yeah me too. But we can hang out together.

Amy: Yes! We're like the only blondes in the house. Besides Holly and Michelle.

Janelle: Yeah I know. I really like Holly.

Amy: We should be the blondes, and all get showmances!

Janelle: I love this idea.

Amy: We can be The Barbies.

Janelle: Or the Blonde Bombshells. And we can get like Nathan, and some of the other guys. We should add another girl into the mix and make a solid group of seven.

Amy: I personally love Sarah.

Janelle: Ok! We'll get cracking on this alliance tomorrow.

Amy [DR]: So basically me and Janelle came up with this crazy scheme to get Me, Holly, Janelle, and Sarah together with some of the boys. I think it's going to work.

James [DR]: I really like Sarah she is fun to talk to. She asked me about a possible secret alliance, of course I said yes.

Sarah [DR]: I don't mean to be so slutty this early but I love me some James Rhine.

[James and Sarah flirt in the kitchen while Nathan and Amy sit on the HoH staircase]

Amy: Can I read your palm?

Nathan: Yes.

[Amy studies his hand with a long thought]

Amy: Alright, you're going to live to 94, you're going to have three kids - 3 girls and a boy. You will meet your wife in the grocery store between isles 2 and 3. You might have a car accident in a few months so be careful and use your seatbelt when driving. And you're also going to have a showmance with me.

Nathan: I like that last part.

Amy: I bet you do.

Nathan [DR]: I would have to say Sarah and Amy are my favorite people so far. Amy and Janelle are like really, really close, and I think both of them want an alliance with me in it, but it hasn't been confirmed yet. I would love to have this 3-way alliance kind of as a "sub-alliance" from my room. Then I could branch off and have like some final two deal with Sarah.

[Day 4]

Julie Chen: Houseguests, it's finally time. Everyone head out to the backyard for your first Head of Household competition.

[The houseguests head outside to discover two large spinning disks, each having 10 pedestals. In the center of the disks is a pendulum that is slowly swinging back and forth. The houseguests all look bewildered as they attempt to figure out what they're in store for.]

Julie Chen: You will notice before you two spinning disks. One of them is blue, the other is pink. I would like for the men to pick a stand on the blue side and for the women to pick one on the pink side. Please pick your stands now.

[The houseguests are shown heading onto the set and picking their places. All of them look nervous.]

Nakomis [DR]: Fuck yes I want it! Go big or Go home! I'm gonna try my hardest to take it.. if not me, David, Roddy, Danielle, Justin, Amy... or any of the other retards in my room...

David [DR]: I do not want to win HOH first. I don't want that kind of power so early and I do NOT want a target put on my back. I really don't care who wins...I think I have formed pretty good friendships with a MAJORITY of the people here and we'll see how it goes!

Drew [DR]: I'd prefer to have some control. If I don't win, I'd love to see Amy, Will, James, Roddy, Danielle, David, Janelle or Holly win it as those are the people I've talked to and gotten along with the most.

Julie Chen: Houseguests - the power is up for grabs! You are now standing atop a pedestal. And if you want HOH....you better stay on top of it. This is a test of endurance. The last person to step off their pedestal will be crowned the first ever Head of Household for URTV8. BUT, it won't be that easy. In the center of the course is a pendulum that is going back and forth. As your discs spin round and round, the pendulum will be attempting to knock you off. To avoid it, you can simply duck. Or, you can take hold of it and toss it at someone else. Do what you can to survive as the pendulum will not be forgiving if you're not ready for it. This competition begins...

[The discs start moving]

Julie Chen: ....now. Good luck houseguests.

[As the competition starts, the houseguests are seen ducking and attempting to grab the pendulum at will, paying no mind to where it actually is. Eventually everyone seems to get the hang of it, but just as this begins, it crashes into a houseguest that was not paying attention.... Kaysar is lobbed cleanly off his pedestal and onto the mats below.]

Kaysar [DR]: It seemed hard!

[Not long after Kaysar falls, Danielle follows. Rachel is soon knocked off after that.]

James: 17 left...

[As the pendulum swings towards Nathan, he aims it at Will, who is on his own side. When he throws it, the pendulum has barely any give and all it's force swings back into him, knocking him clean off. Amy and David start laughing.]

David: Love it, haha!

Erika: Actually, it's Will who's out.



Nathan [DR]: Endurance, I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. First chance I got, I screamed and failed the comp. Bye to me.

[As everyone settles down from Nathan's mistake, the tolls of endurance are starting to set in. You can tell many were ready and prepared for a brual competition such as this one. Jordan & James, however, just nearly an hour into the competition look exhausted. Eventually both of them don't have the energy to duck anymore and are knocked off seemingly back to back.]

Jordan Sorry guys, I just ran out of power....

[We hit the hour mark and now it's where the women and men are separated from the girls and boys. As Erika makes another pass, she still notices Will standing and looks confused. She blurts out again...]

Erika: Will is out...

[Everyone still just brushes it off and gives her a bewildered look. Janelle talks under her breath...]

Janelle: I think Erika is confused...

Drew [DR] S-T-F-U! You're not the host!

Will [DR] I think Erika has it out for me. What a scary fucking whore.

[Eventually Roddy is knocked off during the course of the commotion. He brushes himself off and walks off. The game continues as normal, but anytime Erika has the chance, she seems to keep throwing the pendulum to Will's direction. Everytime she does, Holly gives Will a sign with her fingers to signal the pendulum coming to him. As the competition goes by, his attention span begins to fade away. Holly looks visibly annoyed.]

Holly [DR] I'm sick of him. He tells me all before the game how much he wants us to win and stuff. And now he's not even paying attention!

[Eventually the pendulum swings and hits Will as he isn't paying attention. He falls off the pendulum to his surprise, but picks himself up and heads towards the side.]

Holly [DR] He just gets undah my skin!

[After Will's elimination, everyone looks tired but have all made it far. Eventually Juie's voice barks up.]

Julie Chen Congratulations Houseguests, you've been doing well! But I just thought I'd drop off a warning that the pendulum is getting impatient. Things should be... speeding up soon.

[As Julie's voice fades, the pendulum visibly starts going faster and harder. The houseguests begin to panic and their exhaustion takes it's toll. Sarah, Michelle, George and Justin soon fall after the speed up.]

David: Damn, people are dropping like flies!

Janelle: Good! I want sleep! Haha.



[We cut back to the challenge where 3 men and 5 women remain - Jee, David, Drew, Janelle, Amy, Erika, Holly, and Nakomis. The 8 of them are impressively hanging in there. The 5 women all start to whisper to each other.]

Janelle: How long can everyone last? I'm getting really tired...

Amy: Me too.

Nakomis: I'm good for another while.. as long as I don't mess up.

Erika: I think everyone will keep each other here safe though, right??

Janelle: I will if I win.

Nakomis: I definatly will.

[In the background we see Jee get knocked off by the pendulum.]

Erika[/color]: I'm worried it will be co-HOH.

Janelle[/color]: I think it will be. But if David gets it, he's not going to be too much of a pain on how to nominate. He won't want to nominate any of us....

Amy: Yeah---

[Being engaged in conversation, Amy doesn't pay attention to the pendulum and it knocks her full force off the pedestal.]

Amy: Um.

[Amy whispers that she'll keep company and heads off the side. It's now two men vs. 4 women.]

Janelle David's in it for the long run... I don't think he's going anywhere and I hate to say it.

[We pan out to see David & Drew looking very strong still.]

David: I'm going till' 5 AM baby!

Erika Okay, bed time for me then. Good luck ladies!

[Erika steps off her pedestal and heads inside to a very appetizing looking bed.]

Holly I'm still gonna go for a little while.

[Janelle is looking visibly tired.]

Nakomis: Janelle, if you wanna drop its okay.. I'm not going anywhere.. and if I win your completely safe.

Janelle I'm going to drop then...

[Janelle hops off her pedestal. What was originally 5 on 2 is now 2 on 2. But that doesn't last long as Holly also has had enough and drops. It's now Nakomis vs. Drew & David. Round and round we spin.]

Drew: You kids are crazy!

[And that is Drew's cue to drop off his stand. It's now 1 on 1. David vs. Nakomis! After a bit of silence, the two begin to speak.]

David: I'll be here for another 5 hours! I'm all hyped up on soda and cheesecake!!

Nakomis: Haha, you're crazy!

David: Well Nak you have safety if you need sleep...don't even worry about that! You proved yourself immensely...

Nakomis: Haha I know.. but I'm not tired.

[We go back to silence as the two concentrate.]

David: Have we hit 5 hours yet?

Random Person From Sideline: 3 minutes away!

Nakomis: I think I have to stop soon....



Nakomis: Okay lovely people...I think it's soon time for me to drop. Just... a few more minutes.

David: I'll pretty much guarentee I don't win another one. I'm HORRIBLE at them! But for some reason I caught onto this game.

Nakomis: Haha, it's okay... my head is pounding. Next one, I'm dropping. I'll put us all out of our misery.

[As the pendulum comes towards Nakomis, she puts her arms out and lets it hit her down. David hops off the pedestal as the people left offer him congrats. Nakomis and David share an embrace out of respect.]

David: You're a trooper, girl!

Nakomis Congrats David!

[As the crowd of people head back into the house, the camera pans in the opposite direction.]
